**ACCOUNTS PAYABLE CLERK**

***:
The Accounts Payable Clerk is responsible for a wide range of duties such as matching, batching, coding and inputting a high volume of accounts payable invoices, assists with weekly cash requirements. Resolving accounts payable issues with vendors. Assist with vendor statement reconciliations and vendor inquiries.

**WHAT YOU’LL DO**:

- Completes daily accounts payable transactions, including: matching, batching, and inputting a high volume of accounts payable invoices.
- Assists with the reconciliation of vendor statements and follow up with vendors.
- Assists with vendor inquiries regarding payment of invoices.
- Assists with weekly cash requirements
- Handles confidential material based on procedures
- Maintains confidentiality, accuracy, and attention to detail.
- Ensures a friendly, cooperative, team based working environment that respects and values the contribution of all fellow staff members and customers.
- Offers assistance and support when needed or requested.
- Supports the team process with a positive attitude.
- Exhibits professionalism in all aspects of business etiquette, personal appearance, and actions.
- Stays organized, calm, positive and seeks assistance when handling stressful situations.
- Willingness to accept and appreciate the diversity that individuals bring to the team.
- To perform duties within the policies and procedures.
- Other duties as assigned.

**MUST- HAVES**:

- Minimum one (1) year post-secondary certificate in business or accounting.
- One to two (1-2) years of related experience
- Accurate data entry skills.
- Excellent organizational skills.
- Knowledgeable in using accounting software.
- Fast and accurate data entry skills.
- Good customer relationship management skills (internal and external)
- Teamwork skills to work well in a fast-paced, time sensitive customer focused environment.
- Strong verbal and written communication skills.
- Solid analytical, mathematical, problem-solving and organizational skills.

**WE VALUE**:

- Healthcare industry experience is an asset.

**OTHER CONDITIONS**:

- Minimal exposure to disagreeable conditions typical of an office position: exposed to stress and pressure associated with multiple priorities and deadlines
- Must be able to travel within the Southwestern Ontario area, when required
- Must be able to work evenings and weekends, when required
