**General Accountability**:

- Reporting to the Manager - Project Management Office of the Information Technology Services Department, the Analyst - PMO supports project management maturity in standards, processes and tools including information systems implementation activities and continuous improvement efforts to facilitate and enhance the ITS project delivery and reporting. The incumbent is responsible for analyzing, monitoring and coordinating budgets and financial results regarding to all ITS project costs. The position also provides accounting, financial, costing, statistical and performance information used in developing and guiding the preparation of the annual ITS Capital Budgets. The position receives direction from the Manager - PMO to assist in the overall planning, management and administration of their department’s project portfolio to ensure the ongoing success.**Key Job Functions**:

- Performs and/or coordinates the planning, monitoring, analysis and evaluation of the applicable TTC Group’s project portfolio for efficiency and effectiveness, including coordinating the development, implementation and ongoing monitoring of project, program and portfolio schedules, cost and scope controls, performance measures and audit/quality assurance activities to ensure project management governance adherence:
- Collects information from stakeholders, including through interviews, and synthesizes information;
- Coordinates the identification and ongoing monitoring of key issues, including alignment with strategic objectives and performance measures;
- Conducts various operational analyses and cost/benefit studies;
- Conducts gap analysis (opportunity assessments and assists with action plans and change management;
- Interprets results of studies, and provides insights as to possible alternatives to correct deficiencies and improve efficiency;
- Prepares various reports, information and recommendations relating to areas of responsibility;
- Follows-up on action plans, produces Key Performance Indicators (KPIs), and prepares analysis of information and reports;
- Integrates, documents, evaluates and monitors new and/or revised operating and administrative policies, rules, standards and procedures, and assists with their implementation;
- Assists in the development and assessment of Project Management tools and templates;
- Assists with and//or coordinates departmental projects as assigned.

Acts as a corporate/department resource and provides advice, direction and interpretation regarding policies, rules, procedures, standards and performance measures:
- Monitors adherence to corporate/department policies and standard operating procedures and pertinent industry and government legislation/regulations, and identifies areas for improved compliance;
- Participates in feedback monitoring for the Project Management Framework and related Project Management documentation and activities;
- Conducts Project Management knowledge sessions, and coordinates the procurement and assignment of TTC and consultant resources where necessary;
- Monitors existing projects to ensure timely execution and completion by closely following project development and tracking that each stage is completed appropriately and within time and budget.
