**Position Overview**:
The Program Assistant and Administrative Support will provide essential support for our leadership training programs. This role involves program coordination, digital content creation, client communication, and other administrative tasks. Hours will vary, ranging from 4-6 hours one week to a maximum of 20 hours in busier weeks, providing flexibility to accommodate varying demands.

**Responsibilities**:
In this role, you will support both program activities and administrative functions. Key responsibilities include:

- Assisting with the preparation and facilitation of leadership training workshops, including setup, participant engagement, and logístical support.
- Coordinating schedules for training sessions, managing inquiries, and maintaining up-to-date training documentation.
- Providing support to trainers during sessions to ensure a smooth learning experience.
- Creating and managing content for our social media pages (IG/FB) to build brand awareness and engage our audience.
- Attending networking events and following up with potential clients to foster new relationships.
- Assisting clients with inquiries and resolving minor issues to maintain a high level of customer service.
- Performing research to identify new client opportunities and maintaining organized records of client information.

**Required Skills and Qualifications**:

- Access to a car for personal transportation / Drivers License.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite (Word, Excel, PowerPoint) and familiarity with virtual meeting platforms like Zoom and MS Teams.
- Strong written and verbal communication skills to interact effectively with participants and team members.
- Excellent time management and organizational skills to handle multiple tasks and meet deadlines.
- Experience with website management and basic design skills to support website updates as needed.
- A collaborative mindset and ability to work effectively in a team setting.
- An ability to think critically and adapt quickly to changing scenarios in training settings.
- Knowledge in social media marketing, with the ability to create engaging content that boosts visibility and audience engagement.
- A collaborative mindset, with strong networking skills to engage potential clients and attend industry events.

**Eligibility and Working Hours**:
This position is specifically for an Indigenous Women, 2-Spirit, Transgender and Gender-diverse, Canadian **(Metis, First Nations or Inuit) women or Indigenous gender-diverse people.** applicants, aligned with our mission to support underrepresented communities. Hours will vary, with some weeks requiring 4-6 hours and others up to 20 hours, based on program needs.
