**Job Summary**:
Lawson Health Research Institute (Lawson) is the research institute of London Health Sciences Centre and St. Joseph’s Health Care London. As one of Canada’s top ten research institutes, we are committed to furthering scientific knowledge to advance health care around the world.

**OVERVIEW**

The Research Data Analyst 1 supports the assigned research team in the analysis of clinical research data under the direction of the Principal Investigator.

Responsibilities may include attending research meetings, conducting literature reviews, assisting with protocol development, drafting ethics submissions, data collection, data entry and management, and assisting with abstract and report writing.

This role liaises with research staff and external stakeholders in the conduct of research studies while ensuring compliance with the research study protocol and research policies and regulatory requirements.

**Rate of Pay**:Commensurate with experience

**Hours of Work**:37.5 hours per week

**Duration: Temporary Full Time **12 month contract, renewable

**Responsibilities and Accountabilities**
- Attending research meetings
- Conducting literature reviews
- Assisting with protocol development
- Drafting ethics submissions
- Data collection
- Data entry and management
- Assisting with abstract and report writing

**Qualifications**:
**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor’s Degree or Diploma in relevant area of study or equivalent education and experience preferred
- 1-2 years of experience in the health/research industry preferred
- Experience in clinical research preferred
- Experience with Redcap and/or other electronic data capture systems
- Experience working in a health care setting would be an asset
- Ability to collaborate with researchers and hospital staff
- Knowledge of the phases of a research and clinical project cycle preferred
- Ability to work independently as well as in an interdisciplinary team.
- Problem solving and critical thinking skills.
- Ability to follow processes with a strong attention to detail
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Well-developed organizational skills with the ability to set priorities to meet deadlines
- Knowledge of Microsoft Office Suite

- Provide documentation of the Tuberculosis skin testing (two step);
- Provide proof of Health Canada-approved COVID-19 vaccination reflective of Ontario Health’s current definition of being fully vaccinated
