Key accountabilities for this front-line management position include, but are not limited to: Providing authentic, intentional leadership to maintain a cohesive team providing high quality patient care. Establishing and maintaining an effective and efficient operation of the DI department, ensuring operational targets are met or exceeded. Establishing and maintaining a high standard of performance from staff through recruitment and growth of qualified staff. Maintaining compliance with standards and guidelines established by Federal, Provincial and associated accreditation agencies and regulatory bodies. Monitoring and maintaining diagnostic image quality in assigned areas ensuring clinical performance outcomes as aligned to internal/external benchmarks. Facilitating the integration of clinical training programs to all student programs within operational environments. Please note this position is non-unionized.

**Required Qualifications**:
Formal Education: Undergraduate degree in Health Sciences or Business Administration; equivalent of education and recognized healthcare experience will be considered. Leadership Development training and education. Experience: Minimum five (5) years' experience in the provision of diagnostic imaging services. Minimum two (2) years' experience in leadership/supervisory capacity. License(s)/Certification(s): Licensed by the Alberta College of Medical Diagnostic and Therapeutic Technologists (ACMDTT), if applicable. Special Knowledge/Skills: Working knowledge of diagnostic imaging services and understanding of inter-relationships among clinical/technical practitioners, physicians and patients. Proven leadership, analytical and planning skills. Enthusiastic and respected. Proven organizational and time management skills. Demonstrated understanding and commitment to the mission, vision, and values of Covenant Health. Creative and innovative in resource deployment. Outstanding communication (oral and written) and interpersonal skills. Demonstrated ability to promote teamwork, collaboration and partnership. Dedication to customer satisfaction. Results-oriented management style. Human resource and organizational development skills. Effective change management expertise.
