**Primary Responsibilities**:

- Directly manage and provide guidance to Product Owners and Product Specialists, fostering a collaborative and high-performing team culture
- Review project specifications to ensure that the development of new features meets business objectives and aligns seamlessly with corporate strategy
- Collaborate with Product Owners to review and enhance user stories, tasks, acceptance criteria, and timelines, ensuring optimal clarity and alignment with project goals
- Make strategic decisions regarding the development of new products and features, ensuring alignment with overarching product and business objectives
- Manage, document, and analyze requirements to translate business needs into an engaging user experience
- Increase overall effectiveness, efficiency, and profitability through operational improvements and smart resource allocation
- Implement robust tracking mechanisms to monitor and report team progress, enabling proactive management and timely decision-making
- Identify potential risks and challenges in product development and implement proactive measures to mitigate these risks
- Work closely with leadership to create and refine product roadmaps, outlining the strategic direction and key milestones
- Collaborate closely with cross-functional teams, incorporating diverse perspectives into product planning and decision-making
- Conduct comprehensive market research and analysis to identify emerging trends, customer needs, and competitive landscapes

**Knowledge and Skill Requirements**:

- Post-Secondary Education in Business, Marketing, Design, Project Management, Business Analysis, Computing Science, or a related field
- Proven track record with 5+ years of experience as a Product Owner, Product Manager, or in a similar role
- Strong leadership capabilities, including experience in supervising product development teams
- Demonstrate the ability to mentor and guide Product Owners to maximize their potential
- Strong communication skills with the ability to convey complex ideas clearly and collaborate seamlessly with cross-functional teams
- Experience in crafting user stories and prioritizing tasks to drive the development of high-quality, customer-centric features
- Strong analytical mindset coupled with effective problem-solving skills
- Knowledge of user experience (UX) best practices
- Certified Scrum Product Owner (CSPO) or Advanced Certified Scrum Product Owner (A-CSPO) certifications would be an asset
- Experience working in an eCommerce, digital marketing, or SaaS business would be an asset
