Process Improvement Consultant

We are hiring a **Full-time Process Improvement Consultant**to support our growing team. As part of our consulting team, you will work with our clients’ delivery teams to help transition existing work practices to high-performing fit-for-purpose processes. As a Process Improvement Consultant, you will need to be a disciplined expert in guiding improvement through organizational change management with an eye for helping teams adopt new ways of working while rapidly and visibly delivering results for the business. This is definitely a balancing act. You will be responsible for providing coaching, training, and mentoring to our clients, while facilitating client improvements in either performance or processes or both. A large part of this role is a facilitation and education role, from creating educational material for virtual, in-person or self-directed learning scenarios, to delivery of these materials.

**Responsibilities**:
- Walk the Talk: Utilize industry best practices, process improvement experience, and agile methodologies to help teams deliver business initiatives
- Support the outbound communications through blogs, podcasts and video content sharing our thinking and experience
- Speak at appropriate conferences and community meetups
- Participate in business development by identifying new opportunities and assisting with proposal development
- Provide hands-on consulting, facilitation and support to organizational change projects, such as process change programs, delivery team performance improvement or product management capability building
- Present and deliver strategies for agile and lean approaches and frameworks, which include the development, maintenance and use of tools, templates, training materials and other content for best-practice agile and lean delivery and organizational change
- Facilitate the planning and delivery of agile delivery team formation and accelerator programs
- Build and deliver facilitated workshops and self-directed eLearnings
- Ensure the completion of all contract deliverables and provide case notes and assets to capture critical deliverables and build the internal knowledge library
- Work with client leaders to facilitate, guide and model behaviour for leadership agility when working with delivery teams
- Create an environment of collaborative teamwork built on collective accountability, constructive dialogue, and receptiveness to diverse perspectives
Qualifications:
- Bachelor’s degree or equivalent (MBA is a plus)
- At least 4 years of experience providing consulting services to large clients using process improvement practices
- Demonstrated mentoring and coaching of agile and lean digital product delivery teams
- Embodies the characteristics of an organizational change facilitator
- Experience as high-performing Scrum Master or Product Owner is ideal
- Experience in instructional design and facilitation is a benefit
- Practiced in organizational, cultural or digital transformation
- Critical thinker with a systems approach to understanding delivery processes and team agility
- Ability to delve into unique challenges and find creative people-friendly solutions
- Excellent presentation skills. While a working product is your primary measure of progress, you understand the value of documentation and bring a high standard of presentation and definition to your engagements
- Humility. You know a learning organization starts with the recognition of what you don’t know and the value of learning from others
- Inclusive and collaborative work style while creating fun and excitement
- Able to operate with transparency and openness
- Strong communication and presentation skills with experience delivering programs, training, and workshops that influence
- Excellent organizational, time management, and problem-solving skills
- Passionate problem solver and facilitator who succeeds in ambiguous situations
