Our mission is to provide high-quality, family-centered, and community-based residential and respite care for individuals with complex care needs.

Safehaven serves individuals with disabilities and their families, through respite and residential programs at our Toronto, Etobicoke, North York, Woodbridge, and Aurora facilities, as well as client homes.

**Role Summary**:
The **Lead Admin **role will be a very diverse role within Safehaven. This role will lead all administrative functions to ensure their completion and management. The Lead Admin will collaborate with the Leadership team to provide support and assistance to key organizational objectives, and milestones.

**Responsibilities**:

- Schedule meetings for leadership team including and not limited to interviews, team meetings, individual 1:1’s, etc.
- Provide Administrative support where required to our Leadership team, this can include the following:

- Ordering Supplies
- Inventory Management
- Coordinating external Vendors
- Provide general administrative support to leadership where required, including Finance, Human Resources, Quality and Safety, Special Projects, Client Operations, and general Operations.
- Work with the Director and other leadership members to provide support to Special Projects within Safehaven, which include:

- Project Management and Coordination
- Serving as the Main Point of Contact for the Project Assigned
- Provide strategic coordination regarding the Project
- Working with external and internal stakeholders for Project Coordination
- Board Governance and strategy with the CEO as required.
- Provide any support possible to front-line staff who are caring for clients and their families.
- Any other responsibilities required.

**Qualifications**:

- University degree;
- Must have at least 5 years of experience working in an administrative capacity with a proven ability to work in a face-paced environment.
- Must be able to handle complex scheduling with strong knowledge of Microsoft Office suite.
- Must have good knowledge on PowerPoint, Excel, and be able to create ad hoc report
- Must be able to work well under pressure
- Project Coordination or Management Experience.
- Experience working with multiple competing priorities.
- Experience working within a health care organization or setting.
- Understanding of use of technology and systems, willingness to learn new systems to be applied to work.
- Ability to communicate with others in an effective and professional manner.
- Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
- Ability to work effectively in a team environment as well as independently.
- Strong organizational and time management skills.
- Leads self and demonstrates willingness to learn and accept responsibility.

At anytime, Safehaven may need to move staff to other locations based on operational needs.
