Cannabis Analytical Technician

**Responsibilities of the role**:

- Follows the operating procedures for formulation of products and blends with the capacity to be creative; thinking outside the box for product development
- Develop expertise in extraction, refining, testing and formulating methods of various cannabis compounds.
- Performs weighting raw materials, mixing/blending process, preparation of daily product batches, monitoring stability of the process
- Recordkeeping and proper documentation of formulation results.
- Daily laboratory maintenance, and cleaning/sanitation of the formulation area.
- Demonstrates knowledge in the use of basic lab techniques and a high level understanding of math and formulations.
- Packaging of Ichor’s broad product line as needed.

Hands on experience in a similar setting would be an asset; ethanol extraction and distillation preferred.

**Physical Requirements**:

- Standing and walking for long periods of time
- Ability to perform repetitive tasks while maintaining a high level of attention to detail
- The ability to lift 10 - 50lbs

**Education Requirement**:

- College Certificate (OCC)
- Secondary School Diploma (OSSD)
- Police Check (General)

**Salary**: $25.00-$28.00 per hour

**Benefits**:

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday

Supplemental pay types:

- Overtime pay

**Education**:

- DCS / DEC (required)

**Experience**:

- Laboratory experience: 1 year (preferred)
