Paint and Collision Shop Manager

Key Responsibilities:

- Oversee the production and repair processes of the paint and collision department to ensure that all work is completed efficiently, safely and to a high standard.
- Manage and motivate a team of technicians and support staff, ensuring that all team members are working effectively and efficiently
- Develop and maintain strong relationships with customers, insurance companies, and other stakeholders to ensure a high level of customer satisfaction
- Ensure that all work is carried out in accordance with industry standards and regulations, including health and safety guidelines
- Monitor and manage departmental expenses, including materials, supplies, and labor costs to ensure profitability and cost-effectiveness
- Conduct regular performance evaluations and provide feedback and coaching to team members to help them reach their full potential
- Continuously evaluate and improve processes, procedures, and techniques to ensure the department is operating at peak performance
- Attend industry training sessions and conferences to stay current with industry trends and best practices

**Requirements**:

- A minimum of 5 years' experience in an automotive paint and collision management role
- A technical understanding of paint and collision repair processes, materials, and equipment
- Proven experience leading and managing a team of technicians
- Excellent communication, organizational, and leadership skills
- Strong financial and business acumen
- A valid driver's license and a clean driving record
