Automotive Bodywork Technician

Bristol Coachworks is an up and coming custom vehicle manufacturer who is looking to add talented and motivated members to our TEAM. We specialize in the manufacturing and assembly of custom commercial and private vehicles.
In addition to our custom vehicle division we have an auto-body shop and paint booth (53ft L x 14ft H x 14ft H) which has an emphasis on heavy truck and commercial equipment collision repair and refinishing. The body shop is also in place to support our painting requirements on our manufacturing and service side which includes new vehicle painting, RV/Motorhome fiberglass repairs, painting as well as used commercial equipment refurbishment.

Qualified applicants must possess the following skills and abilities:
Thoroughly reviews each repair order prior to beginning work on vehicle
- Completes all paint preparation processes for vehicles according to factory specifications and CFAA, Inc. policies
- May prime, edge or jam replacement parts
- Knows how to properly sand and prep for paint, new parts and blend panels
- Knows how to properly sand and featheredge surface for primer
- Able to properly block panels for refinishing
- Able to mask and spray the correct amount and coats of primer
- Able to mask all panels and cover car to minimize tapelines and overspray on the vehicle
- Contributes to maintaining acceptable cost per paint labor hour
- Knows status of assigned vehicles and helps problem solve on getting and keeping all vehicles on schedule on-time delivery
- Consistently utilizes all required safe equipment and follows proper refinishing

Pay rate TBD by experience and skill.

- AEC / DEP or Skilled Trade Certificate (preferred)

**Experience**:
