**What you **will **do**

Reporting to the Manager of Finance & Administration (F&A), the F&A Assistant is responsible for providing administrative and clerical services to support to a busy non-profit office. This position supports efficient and effective systems and management contributing to adaptability to manage change.

**What you bring**
- Knowledge of office administration practices and procedures.
- Knowledge of basic bookkeeping and accounting
- Ability to set up and trouble shoot computer systems including cell phone issues.
- Excellent communication skills both oral and written with a customer service orientation.
- Attention to detail and ability to deal accurately with numbers.
- Excellent interpersonal skills.
- Ability to establish and maintain positive working relationships with others both internally and externally (e.g. vendors).
- Ability to work with a diverse client group.
- Completion of Grade 12 or equivalent.
- At least 1 year of work experience in an office environment, including word processing, using spreadsheets, and records management or a combination of education and experience
- Education/training in the field of accounting/business admin or at least one year of Bookkeeping/Accounting Experience, preferably accounts payable.
- Experience working directly with the public.
