Our Banking client in** Toronto, Ontario **is looking to hire a **HR Specialist** for a **6-months contract role with possibility for extension.**

**What you will be doing**
- Advise managers and employees on state and federal employment regulations, collective agreements, benefit and compensation policies, personnel procedures, and classification program.
- Evaluate job positions, determining classification, exempt or non-exempt status, and salary.
- Prepare occupational classifications, job descriptions and salary scales.
- Assist in preparing and maintaining personnel records and handbooks.
- Prepare reports, such as organization and flow charts, and career path reports, to summarize job analysis and evaluation and compensation analysis information.

**What you will need to succeed**

**Must Have Skills**:

- 5-7 years of experience in HR or customer service-related field.
- 3-5 years of configuration experience with SAP SuccessFactors.
- 2-3 years of configuration experience with Employee Central and Benefits.
- Must have standard Business Analyst skills.
- Gather requirements from business units and working with key stakeholders within all business functions to align technology solutions with business strategies.

**Nice-To-Have Skills**:

- Previous exposure to the banking industry/financial services.
- SAP SuccessFactors Employee central certification is an asset.
- Bilingual in English and Spanish would be an asset.
- Experience with agile methodology.
