**In this opportunity as a Product Manager, you will**
- Develop industry insight and shape go-to-market plans for new, customer-focused offerings, servicing both readers and advertising clients
- Own the development, launch, and all aspects of the product life-cycle for the products you manage.
- Oversee project management of major digital product initiatives and shape go-to-market plans for new, customer-focused offerings
- Ensure data is deeply engrained in product decision making, with KPIs identified before design; coordinate with eMarketing teams to produce performance reports against KPIs.
- Be the voice of customer - speak with customers and gather feedback for continuous product development
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams including UX, Analytics, Content and Front-End Development, and other product owners to ensure the proposed solutions align with best practices.
- Work closely with Editorial and Sales to ensure the proposed solutions drive value for the business.
- Conduct qualitative and quantitative analysis to determine the overall health of products and identify new opportunities for improvements, new ways of working, and new areas of development.
- Manage workflows and operational processes working with eMarketing and administrative teams
- Work with the wider LMG organization to develop, support and ensure adherence to corporate level best practices.

**You’re a fit for the role of Product Manager if your background includes**:

- Significant experience in a relevant role, either directly as a product manager, or working in a similar cross-functional capacity, ideally in a news, media, digital, data, technology business.
- Strong strategic aptitude; ability to define a leading business strategy and product roadmap and execute complex product development cycles
- Technical product development experience with digital products or platforms.
- Creative thinker who likes to make connections, find patterns and use their imagination to create the best possible customer experience.
- Sharp analytical, qualitative, and quantitative skills with the ability to use data and metrics to back up assumptions, recommendations, and drive actions
- Must have maturity, poise, and communication skills suitable to interact directly and build trust with high-profile customers and partners.
- You can communicate complex ideas with simplicity and rally people behind your visions.

**Desired Skills**:

- Strong product management skills, e.g. direct experience in areas such as creating a compelling product vision, customer requirement analysis, roadmaps, user experience design, etc.
- Experience in working with digital content platforms, or building out digital experiences for customers is preferred
- Strategy and problem-solving skills
- A science degree and science experience is a plus, but not required
- Experience in working closely with technology development teams, especially in an agile software development environment
- Data-driven mentality, with the ability to use data and analytics to set key success metrics and monitor product performance
- Ability to develop business cases that support decision making
