**Renewable Energy (Solar) Technician**

**What you'll be doing as a Renewables (Solar) General Labourer**:

- Assist with removal and reinstallation of solar equipment on rooftops
- Adhere to all Health and Safety procedures and policies including JHAs, SOPs, work instructions, etc.
- Complete routine Safety documentation before every job including tailgate meetings, electrical work permits, etc.
- Complete general Reporting and documentation of all work performed on a daily basis.
- Work in a team-based environment and independently whereas necessary.
- Participation in on-call weekend services on a rotating schedule.
- Identify and provide feedback to issues and ongoing development of projects.
- Willing to work overtime as needed.
- Performs other duties as assigned.

- High school diploma
- 1-2 years of general labour experience
- Experience in the renewable energy industry an asset
- Positive attitude and ability to work as part of a team
- Consistently work in a safe manner, adhering to Spark Power health and safety standards and protocols
- Good communication skills
- Basic computer literacy
- Valid Driver's License with clean driving record
- Must be able to lift 34kg (75lb)
- Ability to work at heights with good ergonomics, work may take place on ladders, platforms, and cramped spaces with constant standing and kneeling.
- Work in adverse weather conditions and extreme temperatures
- Criminal background check is required
