We are looking for a Scalehouse Clerk at our Walker Aggregates Division - Simcoe location.

**Scale House Clerk**

Ideally, you have the following qualifications:

- Experience in a customer service / dispatch role
- Excellent communication skills both verbally and written
- Keen attention to detail
- Comfortable working in a variety of different settings
- Willing and able to work some Saturdays
- Willing to travel to the various site in the Barrie area, as needed
- Must have a valid driver’s license with clean drivers abstract

**Practical Details**
- Weighs and documents each truck leaving the quarry to ensure that loads are correct and do not violate safety transportation regulations
- Receives payments by cheque, debit and credit cards and completes appropriate documentation to ensure records, orders and cash receipts balance
- Operates a three way radio system to communicate with various colleagues at the quarry and assist in the smooth running of quarry operations
- Opens and closes the scale house to ensure systems such as computers, security etc., are operating correctly
