We are currently seeking an experienced and dedicated Operations Manager to join our team and help lead the charge in the renewable energy industry. As the Operations Manager, you will be an essential part of our team, responsible for the seamless functioning of our solar power store. Your role will involve managing day-to-day operations, ensuring the efficient flow of products and services, defining & streamlining processes and growing a team to scale operations.
**Key Responsibilities**:
- **Team Leadership**: Lead and inspire a team of dedicated staff members, providing guidance, coaching, and support to ensure smooth operations and exceptional customer service. Part of this role and streamlining processes will require building and training teams.
- **Inventory Management Systems**: Optimize the management of inventory, including ordering, receiving, and maintaining stock levels, to ensure product availability and minimize waste.
- **Quality Assurance**: Maintain the highest standards of product quality, installation, and customer service, ensuring customer satisfaction and trust in our brand.
- **Process Optimization**: Continuously improve and streamline operational processes to maximize efficiency and reduce operational costs.
- **Project Management**: Managing ongoing process improvement projects and streamlining operational processes. This will also include exploring new systems, evaluating systems and implementing new systems.
- **Vendor Relations**: Manage relationships with suppliers and vendors to secure favorable terms and pricing, ensuring the store's profitability.
- **Safety Compliance**: Ensure compliance with all safety regulations and standards in the handling of solar equipment and installations.
- **Reporting**: Generate and analyze key performance indicators (KPIs) to make data-driven decisions and report on operational performance to senior management.
- **Customer Experience**: Foster a culture of exceptional customer service, ensuring that customers receive the support and information they need.
**Qualifications**:
- Bachelor's degree in Business Administration, Operations Management, or a related field (preferred).
- Experience in operations management, particularly in a retail or renewable energy setting.
- Experience in project management.
- Experience in hiring and building a team
- Strong leadership and team-building skills.
- Excellent problem-solving and analytical abilities.
- Proficiency in using software tools for inventory management and reporting.
- Knowledge of solar energy systems and products (nice to have).
- Strong commitment to sustainability and clean energy.

With the aim to become the largest distributor in North America, we offer full services for commercial and residential customers, including agricultural spaces and indigenous communities. Serving customers Canada-wide, we are a one-stop shop offering full kits, individual equipment pieces, consulting services, design services, and assessments. **Compensation**:
