Reporting to the Manager ‑ Cardiology & General Medicine, the Clerk III will be responsible for providing a full range

of clerical support services involving managing referrals for the wound care clinic and vascular clinic in collaboration

with Cardiovascular Coordinator, booking patients for appointments and follow up, and working in the clinic offering

clerical assistance.

Qualifications:

- Secondary school diploma with a certificate in Secretarial Arts or equivalent experience (3 years minimum)
- Certificate in Medical Terminology or equivalent experience ( 3 years minimum)
- Client focused communication skills; good interpersonal, organizational, and telephone skills
- Demonstrated good time management skills
- Ability to "multi task" to ensure an effective clerical work flow process on a busy clinic with multiple interdiscplinary

team members.
- Initiative with the ability to work with a minimum of supervision
- Working knowledge of medical terminology and processing medical orders..
- Previous Clerk experience
- Previous experience with gathering and compiling statistical data
- Must have computer experience particularly the area of data compilation and entry
- Meditech training and competency in order entry in an electronic format is required
- Novari access to care platform experience

Salary Range: $26.588 to 27.221
