Our total compensation package offers health, dental, EFAP, vision care and life insurance. The salary range for a Service Coordinator is $50,000.00 to $60,000.00. This position is eligible for performance-based bonus (paid monthly).

**The Role**

Under the supervision of the Service Office Manager, the Service Coordinator will welcome customers and gather information required to identify their vehicle repair and maintenance work they require. The Service Coordinator sells maintenance services and organizes the repair order through to completion for their customer, while maintaining exceptional customer service and rapport.

**Customer Relations - 60% of your time is spent here**
- Act as a liaison between the customer, Service, Parts and Sales Departments.
- Obtain as much information about the customer and vehicle data upon their arrival.
- Build & Review all Estimates and update the customer.
- Close EA in uptime once Express Assessment criteria is met / Customer has been updated with the time repair will be complete and estimate has been given.
- Update the customer if job scope changes at any point.
- Update the customer upon completion of the unit and explain all repairs
- Verify the customer’s method of payment before the required repairs begin.

**Administration and Coordination
- 40% of your time is spent here**
- Look after all repair orders after service write-up is complete.
- Review repair before assigning to either Express assessment or Main Shop Foreman
- Close first communication in Uptime.
- Understand completion time of repair and set reminders to follow up.
- Review tech stories and adjust for grammar / professionalism, ensure correct parts and labour hours for each line
- Ensure accuracy of customer data in our computer system

**Education/Certification**
- High School Diploma (Post Secondary Education in a related field is an asset)

**Experience**
- Minimum 3 years’ experience in the automotive or heavy equipment industry in the role of Service Advisor, Service Writer or Heavy Equipment Technician
- Outstanding customer service skills.
- Ability to speak English fluently (a second language would be considered an asset).
- Experience in the industry is not necessary, however preference will be given to those with experience in heavy duty trucks or automotive, especially with commercial vehicle experience.
- Must be able to work in a high pressure environment safely
- Must be able to present yourself in a positive, professional manner to colleagues and customers.
- Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from co-workers, managers, customers and the general public.
