**Essential Duties and Responsibilities**:

- Participate in the development of and support the company’s strategic plans for both wholesale and retail assets
- Develop and implement financial policies, procedures, and controls to ensure accurate and timely reporting of financial information.
- Manage the company's financial operations, including accounts payable, accounts receivable, and general ledger.
- Prepare monthly, quarterly, and annual financial statements, as well as other financial reports and analyses as required.
- Develop and manage the company's budgeting and forecasting processes.
- Develop and manage financial, inventory, and security controls in accordance with the company’s procedures
- Communicate financial metrics to senior management
- Provide leadership and support to accounts receivable and accounts payable departments
- Manage the preparation of payroll for personnel
- Keep up-to-date on current HR trends

**Qualifications and skills**:

- **[MUST HAVE]** Bachelor’s degree in business, Accounting, Finance or related discipline
- [**MUST HAVE**] Accounting designation (CMA, CGA or CA), or an equivalent combination of related experience and education
- Minimum **3** years of accounting experience in a senior accounting or financial management role with some experience in human resources
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills
- Impeccable analytical and organizational skills
- Ability to manage multiple priorities and meet tight deadlines.
- Self-motivated and self-directed
- Ability to work closely with a senior management team
- Collaborate with other departments and stakeholders to achieve company objectives

Salary to be discussed and commensurate with labour market trends.

**Salary**: $100,000.00-$120,000.00 per year

Schedule:

- 8 hour shift
- Monday to Friday
- Overtime

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Markham, ON L3S 3K5: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)

**Education**:

- Bachelor's Degree (required)

**Experience**:

- Accounting (required)

Licence/Certification:
