Assistant Guest Services Managers are responsible for leading the Guest Services team in providing excellent service to hotel guests. Assistant Guest Services Managers ensure the smooth running of the service desk during busy periods, and work hard to build positive relationships with all hotel staff and guests. Our Assistant Guest Services Managers need to act with honesty, integrity, and be professional at all times. Our Assistant Guest Services Managers are committed to making our guests' stay an amazing one, from the moment they arrive until they depart.

**Responsibilities for this role include**:
- Assisting in overseeing the daily operations of the Guest Services department
- Assist in building, retaining, engaging, and empower a strong service orientated team who contribute to a positive working environment
- Building and maintaining strong, professional relationships with all associates, guests, owners, stakeholders, suppliers, and community members
- Ensuring the highest level of guest service, ensuring compliance of all Bellstar processes and standards
- Creating a positive, performance driven team environment, that motivates team to achieve company goals
- Assisting in the recruitment, hiring and training of all new hires
- Assisting in performance review management, regularly giving feedback for improvement
- Assisting with administrative duties including scheduling, ordering, inventory, and payroll
- Assisting with guest check ins/outs, reservations, phone calls and billing as needed
- Greeting all guests & visitors in a friendly and professional manner
- Quickly and effectively responding to all guest questions and resolve concern
- Constantly seeking out ways to improve service and increase guest satisfaction
- Maintaining confidentiality of all guests and information
- Managing all guest requests in a timely and friendly manner
- Being knowledgeable of all hotel facilities and services
- Provide accurate and compelling tourist and destination information to guests and owners
- Complying with all legislative requirements and internal standards, policies, and procedures while upholding the company’s core values
- Other relevant and related duties as assigned
**The “must haves”**:
- 3 years of Guest Service supervisory experience in Hotels
- Strong verbal and written English communication skills
- Committed to delivering the highest level of guest service and satisfaction
- Ability to work under pressure in a fast-paced environment
- Strong leadership skills with the ability to give direction and delegate tasks
- Great organizational, multi-tasking and problem-solving skills
- Flexible work schedule including days, nights, weekends, and holidays
- Physical ability to stand for long periods of time
**The “nice to haves”**:
- Completed post-secondary education is related field such as Hotel/Restaurant Management, Business Management and/or Commerce
- Valid certification in First Aid

**Salary**: $48,000.00-$51,000.00 per year
