Information Services Corporation (ISC) is hiring one (1) Registration Officer on a temporary (up to 18 months), full time basis.

We are the partner of choice for governments and private sector organizations seeking solutions across the information management spectrum.- Position Summary- Reporting to the Operations Manager, Corporate Registry this position is responsible for the following responsibilities, including:
- Provides clear, competent answers and information to customers to assist them with filing and other activities related to the compliance of various pieces of legislation and associated regulations, including The Business Corporations Act, The Business Names Registration Act, The Non-Profit Corporations Act, 1995 and other various Acts.
- Provides written and verbal instructions and information to clients, legal representatives, paralegals, accountants, jurisdictional counterparts, and other government ministries and agencies, pertaining to the reasons for the return or rejection of documents, interpretation of legislation and policies and procedures.
- Completes investigation, analysis, and determines appropriate action to achieve alignment of extraprovincial entity information with the home jurisdiction.
- Researches, analyzes, and determines the appropriate action to ensure ongoing entity compliance with the various pieces of legislation and associated regulations.
- Researches errors contained in the database, examines the source of the error and determines the appropriate action to rectify the error, including making corrections to information contained in the Registry.
- Enters, retrieves, and updates data in the Corporate Register database.
- Position Requirements- A high school diploma, along with experience and training in customer service and office administration.
- General understanding of the various business entity types and their attributes that are contained within the Corporate Registry.
- Knowledge of investigation techniques and research methods as it relates to system issues and enhancements.
- Knowledge of Customer Service best practices and issue resolution techniques.
