We are seeking skilled Sandwich Makers to join our team for the new Press'd Sandwich Shop opening up in the Kildonan Crossing Shopping Centre at the end of June 2024.

**Duties**:
Duties include but are not limited to:

- Prepare a variety of sandwiches according to customer preferences and company recipes
- Ensure the quality and freshness of ingredients used in sandwich preparation
- Maintain a clean and organized work area, following food safety guidelines
- Handle cash transactions and operate the POS system efficiently
- Upsell menu items and promote specials to customers
- Sanitize workstations, utensils, and equipment regularly

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in a restaurant or food service setting is preferred but not required
- Knowledge of food safety practices and procedures
- Ability to handle cash transactions accurately
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing
- Strong time management skills to handle peak hours effectively

**Skills**:

- Math skills for cash handling
- Proficiency in food safety and handling procedures
- Experience in a restaurant environment a asset but not required (willing to train)
- Ability to upsell products to customers
- Familiarity with POS systems for order processing
- Strong time management skills
- Ability to maintain cleanliness and sanitize work areas efficiently
