Our mission at Footholds Therapy Center is to improve the lives of learners with special needs by providing high quality instruction and support. We are locally owned and family run, and have been operating in Nanaimo since 2010.

We offer a broad range of assessment and therapeutic services to individuals of all ages which include Behaviour Consultation, SLP, OT, PT, intervention, social and life skills training and academic support.

With an unwavering commitment to quality care, our team works collaboratively with professionals, families, and individuals to develop goal-directed options and effective treatment plans.

THE POSITION

Footholds Therapy Center is looking to hire a experienced Administrative Assistant for Full time work.

We are seeking an individual who’s a team player with a positive personality. They must be a quick thinker, organized, have attention to detail, able to problem solve and have great communication skills. Experience with Google Drive and Microsoft Excel is a must.

As part of the administrative team, your duties include (but are not limited to):
Opening/closing the building, processing sick & away calls, filing, photocopying and scanning documents, answering the phone, taking and relaying messages, cleaning duties, managing and scheduling appointments & vacation coverage.

Must be available to work between the hours of 7:30am and 6pm, Monday to Friday.

**Salary**: $18.00-$20.00 per hour

- Secondary School (required)

- Customer Service: 1 year (required)
