**About the Role**

We are currently seeking an Order Specialist | Inside Sales Representative to join our team at our office in Paris, Ontario. This is an exciting time to be a part of ABC Recreation. Not only are we a growing company, but we are undergoing a lot of technological change to improve the processes and control within our company.

**Core Duties & Responsibilities**

The Order Specialist will be accountable for the health of ordering products from our suppliers. The role will establish a process for reviewing quotes that have been converted to orders by insides sales reps. You will assess this information for completeness, accuracy and suitability based on the original quote. In essence, you are the final reviewer before purchasing the product. This will involve establishing and maintaining a structured approach to ensure the process is working effectively for the ABC family of companies and its customers.

We see this as a hybrid role. While you will maintain an involvement with quoting, your primary responsibility will be to complete orders in a timely manner for the ABC Recreation family of businesses.

You will ensure everyone processing quotes has the right tools, technology, skills, and training to effectively complete orders for the benefit of our clients. A key piece of this role is setting up a review point for all orders.

**Responsibilities**
- Oversee and support the ordering process which includes product and freight
- Act as a Sugar CRM champion who manages all information related to orders and is the main point of contact for others who need to access this data
- Ensure the data integrity of all items in the ordering process in both Sugar and QuoteWerks
- Work with finance and logistics to establish and maintain an inventory management system within Sugar CRM and Sage ERP
- Ensure material purchases are done in a timely and cost-effective manner
- Lead follow up and quoting processes
- Work as part of a team with suppliers, manufacturers, finance, both payable and receivable, to ensure order quantities are received and invoiced correctly
- Communicate with logistics to coordinate delivery and ensure that the appropriate information is made available to customs brokers to clear shipments from the US
- Create and place purchase orders using QuoteWerks based on quotes won
- Maintain and monitor vendor price lists
- Monitor open and past due purchase orders, expediting when required
- Act as the primary vendor contact for product suppliers for the purchasing procurement process
- Initiate cross-functional training of your role so it can be performed in your absence (i.e. vacation or sick time)
- Work collaboratively with the VP of Sales, Project Managers, Marketing Manager, and the Controller to ensure that all requirements are met in terms of the purchasing function and other quotes
- Assume new responsibilities as required for your role

**Skills**:

- Attention to detail
- Knowledge of the Microsoft Office Suite (i.e. Word, Excel)
- Experience with CRM and Finance software systems an asset (Sage, Sugar CRM and QuoteWerks)
- Supervisory experience an asset
- Willingness to learn new processes
- Lead with a positive attitude towards continuous improvement

**Salary**: $40,000.00-$55,000.00 per year
