**JUNIOR ANALYST, STRATEGIC PLANNING**:
The Strategic Planning Division of the Public, Legal and Corporate Affairs Branch is looking for a Junior Analyst for an indeterminate position. The position is classified as an RÉ-04 ($59,364 to $75,591 per annum). 2021 rates - salary under review.

**JOB OVERVIEW**
Reporting to the Senior Analyst, Strategic Initiatives, you will provide support and coordinate activities between the Strategic Planning division and internal and external stakeholders such as federal partners and central agencies. You will support the team in developing and implementing the NCC’s strategic planning initiatives and reporting documents. You will conduct research and provide administrative services to support operations under mínimal supervision.

**ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS**:
**EDUCATION**
Successful completion of a Secondary School diploma.

**EXPERIENCE**
Three to five years of experience in one or more of the following areas:
- Supporting or participating in the development and implementation of strategic planning processes, preparing corporate reporting documents, or participating in corporate performance measurement processes.
- Conducting research and analyses.

**KNOWLEDGE**
- Of corporate planning and reporting processes.

**ABILITIES**
- To analyze problems and provide effective solutions.
- To manage and prioritize various tasks and adjust to shifting priorities.
- To communicate effectively both orally and in writing in both official languages.

**COMPETENCIES**

- Post secondary education in a related field.

**CONDITIONS OF EMPLOYMENT**
- Possess or eligible to obtain Secret security clearance.
- Linguistic profile: Bilingual BBB.
- Position is in the National Capital Region. The person selected for this position must reside within a commutable distance from the workplace at 40 Elgin Street, Ottawa, Ontario.
- The National Capital Commission offers a hybrid and flexible work environment, all employees are currently asked to work on-site at least two (2) days per week.
