**Job Title**

Vendor IT Risk Advisor

**What will you do?**

Supporting the VITR team, this role will establish and develop:

- A trusted partnership with other GCS team, GRM (2nd Line) and RBC LoBs with a focus on City National Bank
- Strong knowledge of TPITR services as defined within the third party IT risk service catalogue
- Strong knowledge of third party threat intelligence landscape and their ongoing evolution.
- Strong knowledge RBC’s Supplier due diligence process, including SRMA and RFP processes.
- Working knowledge of Archer reporting capabilities and other reporting tools (e.g. Tableau).
- The role is expected to be in a position to provide trusted advice and raise awareness on situations of third party cyber security risk.
- Additionally, the role will assist in the operation of the Continuous Monitoring program by:

- Producing analytics reports through repeatable, data-driven, quantitative methods using all available data to assess third party suppliers’ cyber security risks.
- Leverage reports to influence further enhancement of RBC IT risk cyber security policies, standards and practices.
- Contribute to strategic changes in the utilization of existing Continuous Monitoring Program
- Build and communicate weekly based on asks from the business, and formal monthly meetings, with the CNB VMO as well as any RBC SMO communities, communications that articulate key trends, issues, and actions required by GCS to ensure RBC’s Risks, from a technical perspective, are mitigated across 3rd Party Suppliers.

This role is specific to supporting RBC’s growing subsidiary, City National Bank, as well as augment the capabilities of the current Toronto, Canada based team.
- Manage the implementation of multiple concurrent initiatives of varying complexity in a time efficient manner. Monitor and control activities according to plan.
- Continuously identify potential issues, conflicts, and risks. Analyze, mitigate and escalate where appropriate
- Develop and execute on end to end change management plans and plan and execute all communication related to these.
- Collaborate and contribute on cross-functional enterprise initiatives and manage the effective implementation of assigned deliverables.
- Establish strong working relationships across business units and platforms to build influence and impact with key business partners. Collaborate with groups to define and achieve deliverables and ensure initiatives are effectively integrated into RBC procedures and processes.
- Contribute to ongoing administrative program activities as required.

**What do you need to succeed?**

**Must have**:

- Undergraduate degree coupled with change management experience in complex programs with high frequency of requests and multiple priorities
- Demonstrated ability in written and oral communication skills along with strong presentation skills. Ability to determine the information and communication needs of the stakeholders and project.
- Skilled in IT Risk / Cyber Security Risk Identification through either/or work experience and formal accreditations.
- Deadline-driven and results-oriented; able to meet consistently high quality standards while handling a variety of tasks and deadlines simultaneously.

- Strategic thinker with excellent interpersonal skills to work across functions and businesses
- CRISC/CISSP/GIAC/ISC Certification(s)
