Do you want to use your superior customer service skills to deliver planning support to a fast-paced and multi-functional environment?

As a planning student, you will work alongside professionals to provide a broad range of services to support planning activities related to development permitting and residential infill, with an emphasis on process improvements. Specifically, you will:

- Under supervision, support project managers with various projects at different stages of their life cycles
- Complete data collection, analysis and research
- Work with different business units to develop detailed business requirements, implementation plans and training to support bylaw and development process changes
- Update and create standardized templates for operating procedures
- Support the development of marketing and communication resources (ie. presentations, website content, training documents)
- Support event and workshop planning, preparation, facilitation and documentation
- Assist with other projects as required

**Qualifications**:

- Current enrollment at a post-secondary institution, in a planning, business or related work experience degree program
- Experience with conducting research and analysis with attention to detail

**Assets**
- Experience reading site plans and building plans
- Coursework on project management, regulatory, advisory, and other legislative policies related to Land Use Planning and associated policies, procedures, and regulations including the Edmonton Zoning Bylaw
- Experience using or referencing public engagement principles and practices

**Conditions of Employment**:

- This position will be a combination of working from home and office working conditions.

**Additional Details**:
**Hours of Work**: 33.75 hours per week, Monday - Friday

**Salary**:$22.799 - $26.599 (Hourly)
