**Key Requirements and Responsibilities**:

- Review work completed by staff accountants, including working paper files to support financial statements, as well as the related corporate tax returns
- Conduct audit, review, and compilation engagements for clients in a variety of sectors and industries
- Performance of field work on various engagements
- Opportunity for other special engagements as requested from time to time

**Your Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities**:

- Diploma/Bachelor’s degree in accounting, finance, or related field
- CPA designation
- Strong verbal and written communication skills
- Proficiency in Microsoft platforms, QuickBooks, and Sage
- Other software knowledge considered as an asset, especially CaseWare, TaxPrep, and CCH iFirm
- High degree of accuracy and attention to detail
- Able to develop strong and effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
- Strong sense of urgency and ability to meet deadlines
- Ability to work independently or in a team-based setting

**About ME**:
The approximately 30 staff members of MacNeill Edmundson Professional Corporation have provided bookkeeping, accounting, assurance, taxation, and management services to small to medium-size businesses throughout Southwestern Ontario for over 40 years. Our accounting and tax services range from the preparation of compliance reports and tax returns to sophisticated business reorganizations and succession planning. Our management services include the preparation of business plans, financing proposals, business valuations, computer system analysis and accounting software installations. We were established by partners with professional roots in a national accounting firm, with the objective of offering the high level of expertise of a national firm with the more personalized approach of a smaller, local firm: a philosophy we still hold today.

We are a CPA Approved Training Office and mentor several students through the CPA process, many of whom are now managers, senior managers, and partners at our firm.
