**Job Summary**:
We are searching for an experienced **Talent Acquisition Specialist** to join the Cardinal team.

Reporting to the Human Resources Manager, The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for full cycle recruitment across all Cardinal locations in Ontario and Quebec by working closely with organizational leaders to identify high-priority roles and leverage your talent seeking skills to recruit top talent.

This challenging position will require you to be hands on, while building critical relationships with leaders, employees, and vendors, providing solutions that have a direct impact to our business.

**Some of the key responsibilities include**:

- Take a consultative approach with leaders at all levels in the organization to identify recruitment strategies that are aligned to the positions needed to be filled
- Implement and drive employment branding initiatives in recruitment-related processes and activities including community outreach and career fairs, that support strategic objectives such as enhancing the diversity of the applicant pool
- Recommend creative ideas and strategies that will contribute to the long-range growth of the company
- Provide coaching on conducting interviews and ensure hiring managers are equipped with tools required to conduct effective interviews; participate in interviews as required
- Support diversity and inclusion best practices
- Manage and promote Cardinal’s Employee Referral Program
- Create and maintain job descriptions and job postings
- Conduct regular reviews of compensation market data to ensure we are competitive within the market
- Exercise strong analytical skills using data to develop recommendations; demonstrated ability to define and measure success of programs and talent acquisition initiatives

**Requirements**:

- Undergraduate degree in Human Resources and/or an undergraduate degree with a post
- graduate degree/diploma or certificate in Human Resources Certified Human Resources
Professional (CHRP/CHRL) designation an asset
- Minimum 2 years’ experience in recruitment of technical roles
- Extensive experience managing and prioritizing multiple searches and stakeholder relationships
- Commitment to diverse and inclusive hiring practices
- Tactful and effective written and verbal communication skills, ability to interact with all levels within the organization and influence as required
- Self-motivated, excellent problem-solving skills and the ability of work with a minimum of supervision to manage, organize and prioritize work to adhere to critical deadlines
- Team player, strong listening skills and ability to adapt to change
- Excellent working knowledge of employment law (i.e., Canada Labour Code, Human Rights)
- Bilingual French/English an asset
- Cardinal Operations include day, evening, and night shifts. This role may be required to shift their work schedule to accommodate and support business needs. Shift flexibility is needed for this role
