Fine Dining Server/bartender/ Banquets Server

Calgary, Canada The Ranchmen's Club Full time

**Position Overview**: We are seeking dedicated and enthusiastic food and beverage servers to join our team. As a server at The Ranchmen’s Club, you will deliver outstanding service in our dining and banqueting areas, contributing to an exceptional experience for our members.

**Key Duties & Responsibilities**:

- Provide prompt, efficient, and friendly service to private members.
- Review function sheets and prepare for daily events.
- Communicate orders effectively with other staff to ensure timely delivery of food and beverages.
- Accurately enter all food and beverage orders into the Jonas point of sale system.
- Collaborate with team members to ensure seamless service.
- Set up tables for banquets and dining areas, including cleaning and polishing cutlery and glassware.
- Ensure event spaces are ready before guests arrive.

**Requirements**:

- Valid Pro-serve certification is required.
- Experience in fine dining or banquet serving is preferred.
- Bartending experience is an asset.
- Must be personable, presentable, and exhibit excellent communication and organizational skills.
- Strong interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
- Highly responsible, reliable, self-directed, and self-motivated.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Team player with a positive attitude and ability to focus on guest needs.
- Flexibility to work overtime during peak periods and accommodate special requests.

**Qualifications & Skills**:

- Mature individuals with experience in high-end restaurant or banquet settings are preferred.
- Energetic, enthusiastic, and professional demeanor.
- Willingness to improve existing skills and learn new ones.
