**Events + Marketing Coordinator**

**Position Overview**

**Key Responsibilities**
- Manage all logistics for RAHB’s professional development program, from planning and coordination to marketing and evaluation
- Plan and execute all aspects of RAHB events and meetings (virtual and in-person), including but not limited to critical paths, budgets and marketing content
- Schedule trainers, volunteers, Board leaders, and the CEO for events and seminars and act as the liaison between guest speakers, instructors, trainers, and vendors
- Work with the Marketing + Communications Team Lead and the Graphic Design + Social Media Specialist to create content for all promotional marketing materials and ensure the material is designed, proofed, and ready for distribution well in advance of the event
- Facilitate all pre-event and post-event responsibilities, including the registration and surveying process
- Provide member assistance and respond to queries before, during and following events
- Prepare and maintain budgets for events and the professional development program
- Ensure that the appropriate parties review and approve contracts and invoices for meetings and events
- Maintain accurate records of participants, survey reports, and event revenues/expenses
- Provide consistent update reports to the Team Lead and Manager
- Develop and execute the annual corporate sponsorship program
- Assist with deploying member communications through various channels
- Perform other duties as may be assigned from time to time

**Qualifications**
- Post-secondary education in a discipline appropriate and relevant to hospitality administration, event management, event marketing and/or equivalent
- Minimum of three years of relevant experience supporting an organization’s event and meeting strategies and/or continuing education program
- Experience developing marketing and promotional content for events
- Strong verbal and written communication competencies, including writing, editing and proofreading skills
- Consensus-building, consultation, and negotiation skills
- Ability to conceptualize easily, learn quickly, and independently exercise good judgement and initiative
- Effective organizational and project management skills
- Ability to participate and contribute effectively as part of a team
- Experience working with a learning management system is considered an asset
- Not-for-profit experience and/or knowledge of the real estate profession is an asset

**Work with RAHB**
- Monday to Friday from 8:30 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. (some additional hours for events/meetings)
