**Position Overview**:
Are you passionate about starting your career in health and safety? Do you thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic environment? If so, we want you to join our team as a Health and Safety Administrator. In this role, you'll play a vital walk-on part in promoting a culture of safety, implementing health and safety programs, and ensuring compliance with regulations. **Key responsibilities**:

- Develop, implement, and maintain health and safety policies, procedures, and programs in place.
- Conduct regular inspections and audits to identify and mitigate potential hazards.
- Provide guidance and support to employees and management on best practices and regulations.
- Lead the development and delivery of engaging health and safety training programs.
- Investigate accidents, incidents, and near misses to identify root causes and implement preventive measures.
- Maintain accurate records related to health and safety activities, incidents, and compliance.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to drive continuous improvement initiatives.
- Serve as a liaison with regulatory agencies and external stakeholders on health and safety matters.

**Qualifications**:

- A minimum of one year of studies completed occupational health and safety programs.
- Comprehensive knowledge of health and safety regulations, standards, and practices.
- Previous experience in a safety-focused role, with warehousing or construction experience being an asset.
- Excellent communication, interpersonal, and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to prioritize tasks, work independently, and take initiative.
- Passion for promoting a culture of safety and well-being in the workplace.

Hourly rate: $21.50
