Position Overview:
Key Responsibilities:
Requirements Gathering: Collaborate with stakeholders to gather and document detailed business requirements for new initiatives and enhancements within the Prime Brokerage domain.
Analysis and Documentation: Conduct comprehensive analysis of business processes, systems, and data to identify gaps and areas for improvement. Create detailed documentation, including business requirements, functional specifications, and process maps.
Solution Design: Work closely with technology and operations teams to design and implement effective solutions that meet business needs and align with industry best practices.
Project Management: Support project planning, execution, and monitoring, ensuring that projects are delivered on time, within scope, and within budget. Assist in the preparation of project plans, status reports, and risk assessments.
Testing and Validation: Develop test plans, test cases, and perform testing to ensure that solutions meet business requirements and are free of defects. Coordinate user acceptance testing (UAT) with stakeholders.
Stakeholder Communication: Act as a liaison between business users, technology teams, and external vendors. Communicate effectively with all stakeholders to ensure alignment and understanding of project objectives and deliverables.
Data Analysis: Analyze and interpret complex data sets to support decision-making, identify trends, and provide actionable insights to the business.
Continuous Improvement: Identify opportunities for process optimization and automation. Propose and implement improvements to enhance efficiency and effectiveness within the Prime Brokerage operations.
Qualifications:
Education: Bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, Economics, or a related field. Advanced degree or relevant certifications (e.g., CFA, CBAP) are a plus.
Experience: Minimum of 5 years of experience as a Business Analyst, with a focus on Prime Brokerage within the financial services industry.
Technical Skills: Proficiency in business analysis tools and methodologies, including process modeling, data analysis, and requirements management. Strong SQL, Excel, and other data analysis tools.
Industry Knowledge: In-depth understanding of financial markets, prime brokerage operations, securities lending, and related regulatory requirements.
Analytical Skills: Strong analytical and problem-solving skills, with the ability to think critically and make data-driven decisions.
Communication Skills: Excellent verbal and written communication skills, with the ability to convey complex information clearly and concisely to both technical and non-technical audiences.
Team Player: Ability to work collaboratively in a team environment and build strong relationships with stakeholders across the organization.
Project Management: Experience with project

**Duties**:
- Utilize tools such as Jira, ServiceNow, and VPN to troubleshoot and resolve software and hardware issues
- Maintain and configure firewalls to ensure network security
- Assist with computer networking tasks and infrastructure maintenance
- Provide exceptional customer service while offering IT support and help desk services
- Communicate effectively with users to understand and address their technical needs
**Skills**:
- Proficiency in Jira, VPN, ServiceNow, and Firewall systems
- Strong knowledge of computer networking principles
- Experience in software troubleshooting and IT support
- Ability to deliver excellent customer service in an IT environment
- Effective communication skills for interacting with end-users
**Job Type**: Fixed term contract
Contract length: 24 months
