What we are looking for:

- Minimum of 2 years work experience.
- A degree / diploma in Business Administration, Office Administration or equivalent with a specialization in accounting from a recognized post-secondary institution.
- Strong knowledge and practical use of Microsoft Office suite, particularly Excel.
- Bilingual ( French and English) strong communication skills, both written and oral.
- Ability to multitask, prioritize, and detail oriented.
- Knowledge of standard Health, Safety and Environmental (HSE) requirements and practices in the construction industry.
- Previous experience working with collective agreements would be considered and asset.

**Responsibilities**:
The duties associated with this position may include but are not limited to:
Payroll
- Create and maintain employee files.
- Review and validate time entered pertinent spreadsheets against information entered into payroll system to ensure accuracy.
- Complete end of pay calculations at the end of each pay period and submit to bank for direct deposit.
- Prepare Record of Employment (ROEs) as needed.
- Establish and set up trade codes and job phase codes as required.
- Prepare and assist in the preparation of T4’s.
- Work closely with the People and Culture team on payroll inquires and issues.
- Promote companies Health, Safety and Environment (HSE) and Quality Management program.
- Other duties as required.

Accounts Payable
- Receive and verify invoices and requisitions of goods and services.
- Maintain and update all vendor files.
- Verify transactions comply with financial policies and procedures.
- Prepare batches of invoices for data entry and process for payment.
- Process backup reports after data entry.
- Manage weekly cheque run and record accordingly.
- Prepare manual cheques as required and record accordingly.
- Prepare expense and review expense reports.
- Provide administrative support and clerical services to ensure the office is operating efficiently and effectively.
