EP Service Planner (Temporary)

Fike Corporation, a rapidly growing international manufacturer of pressure relief, explosion protection, fire suppression and detection equipment, has an opportunity for a Temporary EP Service Planner position. Fike is a privately held business located in Blue Springs, MO with over 400 employees locally & over 1,200 employees worldwide.

**JOB SUMMARY**:
**RESPONSIBILITIES**:
Schedule all technicians daily service (preventative, emergency and commissioning) with customers
Communicate with Sales and Applications regarding new system sales ensuring we fully support their needs.
Respond to customer inquiries the same day, answering their inquiries within 24 hours
Proactively provide quotations to customers for service, parts and commissioning
Follow up with technicians and customers regarding any deficiencies identified during service through resolution
Assist with managing customers third party programs, alternate jurisdiction requirements & permits required to do business & access their sites
Create sales orders, work orders, and complete all billings in service. Obtain purchase orders prior to technicians arrival at customer’s location
Return faulty modules to Fike for Repair
Follows operating procedures, as required.
Performs routine technical inspections, diagnoses system problems, and assists with emergency repairs on an as needed basis
A valid Ontario driver’s license is required and must have and maintain a good driving record.
Must have and maintain a reliable and suitable vehicle for work.
Must be bondable & able to pass Federal security clearance checks.
Be available for “on call” duty and after hours emergency response, providing first response contact 24/7, dispatching technicians as required.
Maintains confidentiality of all information processed.
Immediately addresses any practice or situation identified as unsafe or escalate it to the next level manager.
Regular and consistent on time attendance is required.
Work week is 40 regular hours scheduled by supervisor(s) based upon customer requirements and/or supervisor. Regular work week is Monday through Friday.
Provides written reports as requested.
Good communication as well as both written and verbal interpersonal skills, including presentation skills
Strong organizational skills with excellent technical aptitude
Ability to prioritize workload and coordinate activities
Performs other technical or production duties as assigned.

**Education & Training**:
Completion of a post-secondary two-year minimum electrical, electronics, mechanical, or electro-mechanical course.
Fike Corporation factory training certificate.
Advanced user of Microsoft Office tools with an emphasis on Word & Excel, and PowerPoint
Bilingual in French and English would be an asset.

**Experience**:
Minimum of 1 year working in a service environment scheduling a field service group, or equivalent and deemed competent by the EP Service Manager.
Must have successfully completed the Fike EP Service course.
