**Lake Bonavista Homeowner’s Association Ltd.**

Lake Bonavista is a non-profit organization managed by staff and led by a volunteer Board of Directors, who maintain and operate the lake recreation facility encompassing over 76 acres serving 3216 homes with over 11,000 members.

The lake itself is 50 acres and the park is 26 acres, making Lake Bonavista one of the largest man-made lakes in Calgary. The lake and community reside in Treaty 7, the traditional and ancestral territory of the Blackfoot Confederacy: Kainai, Piikani, and Siksika as well as the Tsuut’ina Nation, Stoney Nakoda First Nation, and the Metis Nation (Region 3).

Lake Bonavista has all-year round access for its residents to partake in a variety of indoor and outdoor recreational activities, such as swimming, fishing, tennis, pickleball and canoeing in the summer, or skating and cross-country skiing in the winter. The facilities are also host to several seasonal and recurring events and gatherings for the community.

We are hiring a seasonal Park Maintenance Associate.

**Duties**:

- Perform routine maintenance tasks such landscaping, fall clean up and snow removal.
- Operate the ice resurfacer (Zamboni)
- Christmas light display setup etc.
- Respond promptly to maintenance or rule enforcement requests from security or management.
- Maintain a clean and organized work area.
- Cleaning of the washrooms and upkeep of the property inside and out.

**Experience**:

- Previous experience in maintenance or a related field is preferred.
- Strong problem-solving skills and attention to detail.
- Ability to work independently and prioritize tasks effectively.
