**Position Summary**
The Park Maintenance Team Lead is a member of the Park and Facility Services Division reporting to the Park Maintenance Supervisor. The Team Lead is responsible for assisting the Park Maintenance Supervisors in providing leadership for projects and seasonal requirements, operational support and asset protection by providing service consistency to all stakeholders and guests.

**Responsibilities**
This role requires strong organization, leadership, customer service, and skilled equipment operation and manual labour work, which includes, but is not limited to:
- Adhering to and leading the for all safety and environmental efforts of the Clgary Stampede, and confirming policies and procedures are followed to ensure a safe work environment;
- Exemplifying, and training, the delivery of high-quality service through our service priority filter criteria (Safety, Hospitality, Impress, Initiative);
- Contributing to new employee orientation and on boarding within the department;
- Equipment operation of all equipment in our fleet including wheel loader, grader, telehandler, forklift, skid steer, road sweeper, tandem axel dump truck, and others;
- Leading and completing event set ups requiring labour and/or equipment support. (ie perimeter fencing, delivering and placement of outdoor seating and waste management, movement of assets on flat deck trailers, etc ). this includes training, leading, scheduling, motivating, and monitoring staff.
- Liaising with internal departments; internal and external clients and coordinators to ensure all their needs are met.
- Maintenance of the outdoor park spaces including waste managements, repairs, snow removal, and general cleanliness;
- Ensuring competent and consistent completion of tasks, equipment operation, productivity, and time capture, as well as reviewing and responding to equipment pre-use inspections as directed by the Supervisor;
- Administrative duties as required for audits, inspections and resource utilization;
- Other duties as assigned.
**Qualifications**
- Must possess a valid Class 3 driver's license, two (2) years or more of driving experience at this level is preferred;
- Two (2) years in a previous role involving increasing levels of responsibility and leadership;
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience in the logistics or equipment/labour fields;
- Minimum of five (5) years of experience operating forklifts, skid steers, loaders, tractors, and other medium-heavy equipment in a maintenance and/or logistics role;
- Exceptional customer service, communication, problem solving, planning and time management skills;
- Must possess a fundamental understanding of MS Office, primarily in Outlook, Excel, and Word. Competency in Smartsheet and eCompliance are considered assets;
- WHMIS Certification;
- Must have, or be willing to purchase, CSA approved safety boots. The Calgary Stampede provides an allowance for Full Time employees
