**Position: Patient Care Coordinator**

**Responsibilities**:

- Welcome patients to the practice and assist with their needs, ensuring a positive first impression and ongoing patient satisfaction.
- Answer incoming calls and manage inquiries efficiently, providing exceptional service and problem-solving on the spot.
- Schedule and confirm patient appointments, optimizing the daily schedule to maximize efficiency and minimize downtime for the dental team.
- Oversee patient relations, handling questions and complaints with professionalism and enthusiasm.
- Facilitate patient acceptance of treatment plans by effectively communicating the value and benefits of proposed dental treatments.
- Liaise with insurance providers for billing, breakdowns, predeterminations, and payment reconciliations, educating patients on the insurance process as needed.
- Resolve issues with third-party payers and ensure smooth financial operations.
- Manage and maintain patient records in compliance with practice policies.
- Monitor inventory and order dental office supplies as necessary to ensure seamless operations.
- Adapt to varying responsibilities and tackle ad hoc administrative duties with a proactive and positive attitude.

**Qualifications**:

- 2+ years of experience in dental administration experience is a must.
- Familiarity with dental practice management software (experience with Tracker is a plus).
- Strong understanding of dental practice workflows, including scheduling, financial coordination, and treatment planning.
- Outstanding communication skills—energetic, outgoing, and driven to help those around you.
- Exceptional organizational abilities and meticulous attention to detail.
- Tech-savvy and comfortable working with paperless systems.
- A problem solver with a flexible, can-do attitude, capable of working autonomously and efficiently.
- Strong interpersonal skills and the ability to maintain a professional and positive demeanor, even under pressure.
- Willingness to work flexible hours, including evenings and weekends, to accommodate patient schedules.

Pay: $24.00-$29.00 per hour

Expected hours: 33 - 44 per week
