**Payroll/AP Clerk**

The Payroll/AP Clerk’s primary role is to provide bookkeeping/payroll administration for the organization. Under limited direction, the individual will be responsible for payroll, accounts payable and general clerical duties.

Reporting directly to Terradyne’s Executive Director, this is a full-time, onsite position (Monday-Friday, generally 9:00am-5:00pm).

All roles at Terradyne are to be performed with the philosophy of best practices and in line with the recovery process.

**Duties and Responsibilities**
- Payroll
- Responsible for the preparation and processing of payroll for approximately 25-30 employees.
- Establish/maintain employee payroll records.
- Ensure that employee electronic time sheets are entered correctly.
- Set-up new employees in QuickBooks.
- Accounts Payable
- Ensure that all payables are dealt with in a timely manner.
- Liaise with vendors to reconcile any billing discrepancies.
- Maintain an up-to-date listing of vendors, services provided and payment frequency/method.
- Establish and maintain service provider and vendor files.
- Other administrative duties as assigned

**Qualifications**
- 2+ years relevant experience.
- A minimum of 2 years hands-on experience with QuickBooks.
- Proficient in Microsoft Office.
- Previous human resources experience an asset.
- High school diploma or equivalency.
- A criminal background/vulnerable sector check is mandatory.

- Proven ability to work in a dynamic environment with a variety of disciplines to maintain and foster good working relationships.
- Excellent problem solving/judgement skills and a high level of attention to detail and accuracy.
- Ability to handle and prioritize multiple tasks and meet all deadlines.
- Excellent interpersonal skills, including tact and diplomacy.
- Excellent oral and written communication skills.
- Strong sense of teamwork as well as the ability to work independently with limited supervision.
- Capable of decision making/problem solving within predetermined guidelines.
- Strong organizational skills.

**Salary**: $18.00-$25.00 per hour
