- **Machine Shop Estimater/ Inside sales**_
- We are looking for an Estimator with machining or machine shop experience to join our team. Working directly with the owner/President of the company, this role will ensure the timely and accurate release of new quote requests and raw material bids._
- **Responsibilities**_
-**:
- **_Receive quote requests directly from customers and manage entire process from quoting raw materials to providing customer with a finalized quote_
- Recieve and print blueprints and review machining processes required_
- Quoing raw materials and third party processes at multiple steel suppliers and vendors_
- Calculating setup and cycle times to accurately quote machining costs_
- Creating formal quotes in ERP software to present to customer. Working with managers to ensure timely delivery and accurate lead times_
- Building and maintaining customer relationships and keeping open communication_
- **Requirements**_
- 5 years of machine shop or CNC machining experience. Or estimating experience in an industrial job shop atmosphere_
- Able to work in a fast paced, deadline-oriented environment_
- Able to read and interpret blueprints_
- Good knowledge of excel, word, and outlook._
- Flagging and following up on quotes and tasks_
- Ability to manage a large workload_
