**Position Overview**:
As a Personal Support Worker (PSW) at Affinity Health, you will be instrumental in delivering personalized care services to our senior clients. Your role will encompass assisting with personal care routines, providing emotional support, and fostering companionship. This position offers an opportunity to make a meaningful difference in the lives of those we serve.

**Responsibilities**:

- Assist seniors with personal care activities such as bathing, dressing, grooming, and toileting.
- Provide emotional support and companionship to seniors, fostering a sense of connection and well-being.
- Perform light housekeeping tasks to maintain a clean and safe environment for clients.
- Administer medications and assist with medication reminders, as required.
- Monitor and report any changes in the client's condition or needs to the appropriate supervisor.
- Foster positive relationships with clients and their families, ensuring open communication and trust.
- Adhere to all company policies, procedures, and safety standards while delivering care services.

**Qualifications**:

- Personal Support Worker (PSW) designation from a recognized institution.
- Previous experience working with seniors in a caregiving capacity is preferred.
- Proficiency in personal care techniques, including assisting with activities of daily living.
- Strong judgment, problem-solving, and assessment abilities to address client needs effectively.
- Honest, dedicated, and flexible approach to caregiving responsibilities.
- Excellent communication skills with the ability to build rapport and establish trust with clients.
- Commitment to delivering high-quality care with compassion and professionalism.

Votre rôle consistera à les assister dans leurs routines de soins personnels, à leur apporter un soutien émotionnel et à favoriser la compagnie. Responsabilités:

- Aider les aînés dans les activités de soins personnels telles que le bain, l'habillage, le toilettage et les toilettes.
- Offrir un soutien émotionnel et de la compagnie aux aînés, favorisant un sentiment de connexion et de bien-être.
- Effectuer des tâches ménagères légères pour maintenir un environnement propre et sûr pour les clients.
- Administrer des médicaments et aider aux rappels de prise de médicaments, au besoin.
- Surveiller et signaler tout changement dans l'état ou les besoins du client au superviseur approprié.
- Favoriser des relations positives avec les clients et leurs familles, en assurant une communication ouverte et une confiance mutuelle.
- Adhérer à toutes les politiques, procédures et normes de sécurité de l'entreprise lors de la prestation des services de soins.

Qualifications:

- Désignation de préposé aux services de soutien à la personne (PSSP) d'une institution reconnue.
- Expérience préalable de travail avec des aînés dans un rôle de soignant est préférable.
- Maîtrise des techniques de soins personnels, y compris l'assistance aux activités de la vie quotidienne.
- Capacité à faire preuve de jugement, de résolution de problèmes et d'évaluation pour répondre efficacement aux besoins des clients.
- Approche honnête, dévouée et flexible dans l'exécution des responsabilités de soins.
