**About the Internship Opportunity with Ecosystem & Capital, Health Sciences**
The Ecosystem & Capital team engages local and international communities to uncover commercial and financial opportunities with the aim of helping our most promising ventures achieve their greatest potential. Utilizing sector knowledge we build investor forums, information, and capital relationships that bring value to ventures.
Reporting to the Senior Manager of Ecosystem Health Sciences, the Intern will play a key role in supporting collaboration with Health Innovation hubs across Canada by:

- Conducting primary and secondary research to understand the digital health ecosystem and regional strengths in key Canadian cities (e.g. Toronto, Montreal, Vancouver, Calgary, Halifax).
- Sharing these insights both internally and externally in the form of a presentation and/or report.
- Contributing to the development of a shared health sciences venture database supported by other Canadian innovation hubs, including deriving insights on the local and national health innovation ecosystem.

As a key contributor to project execution, the Intern will gain a deep understanding of the health innovation landscape in Canada. They will engage directly with top ventures and stakeholders in health sciences to inform their activities and recommendations.

- Undergraduate or graduate degree in research-oriented discipline
- Experience in working with multiple stakeholders, customers, colleagues in a fast-paced business environment
