**Job description**

**Key Responsibilities**:

- Track sales transactions and provide/develop monthly reports utilizing Excel spreadsheets
- Assist new customers with GFL’s My Account setup
- Assist with preparation, assembly and delivery of quotes and tenders, under Sales Manager’s supervision
- Create and distribute monthly reports for management review
- Act as a liaison between Sales, Operations, and Customer Service
- Verify for accuracy, contracts and service change forms
- Collaborate with sales reps to clarify and present monthly commissions for approval
- Take action on special projects as assigned by the Sales Manager
- Acting as a lead for all sales related projects (corporate updates, pricing updates etc.)
- Utilize GFL’s Customer Relationship Management software to input prospects and new customers.
- Work directly with customers, regarding payments, invoice questions or other account inquiries
- Provide back-up support to the inside sales coordinator, taking temporary bin requests and scheduling confidential shredding services
- Participate in and contribute to weekly Sales Team meetings

**Knowledge, Skills & Competencies**:

- Minimum 2 years of experience working in a professional office team environment
- A deep knowledge of customer service best practices.
- Excellent organizational and administrative skills, with keen detail orientation
- Strong initiative and accountability, with a focus on achieving results
- Superior written, verbal, and interpersonal communication skills, with commitment to delivering quality service, both internally and externally
- Thrives in a fast-paced environment with multiple priorities
- Demonstrated ability leveraging Excel’s capabilities to create and produce reports
- Skilled with use of Microsoft Office products, including Word, Outlook, and PowerPoint.
- CRM database knowledge an asset
