**Responsibilities**:

- Oversee the full-cycle technical proposal processes for assigned RFPs including development, strategy and delivery of pursuits or projects deemed strategic.
- Act as the main point of contact in project managing the end-to-end RFP process including, evaluating requirements, developing timelines with clearly defined accountabilities and deadlines, undertaking gap analyses and independently developing strategies to overcome them, technical writing and ensuring mandatory requirements are highlighted and met.
- Work closely with cross-functional teams to achieve proposal objectives including capture plans, benefits, solutions, and proof into proposals, and deliver proposals on time that are compliant, clear, compelling and follow Smile brand guidelines.
- Develop recommendations to improve proposal capabilities and processes by understanding proposal best practices and guidelines including readability, consistency, tone and frameworks.
- Provide effective and accurate metrics, data and reporting to analyze KPIs, ROI, etc.
- Entering and monitoring accurate tracking data, articulating requirements with contributors, contributing proposal status information to review meetings, and transmitting proposals.
- Maintain up-to-date and in-depth knowledge of Smile products and capabilities along with industry and business development knowledge of existing or prospective customers.
- Comply with the privacy, security, and confidentiality policies.
- Hold all confidential information in trust and strict confidence and ensure that it shall be used only for the purposes required to fulfill employment obligations, and shall not be used for any other purpose, or disclosed to any third party. A breach of policy or misuse of information could result in disciplinary action up to and including termination of employment.

**Requirements**:

- 5+ years of relevant experience in technical RFP writing, in the technology (and/or healthcare tech) industry along with in-depth knowledge interpreting RFPs, developing technical responses and proposals.
- APMP Practitioner or Shipley certification or equivalent experience with APMP or Shipley certification in progress.
- Knowledge or experience with US healthcare (US Payer and Provider), preferred.
- Post secondary education in a related area of study such as business or communication is preferred or the equivalent amount of experience to demonstrate the required level of competency.
- Demonstrated and strong technical content writing skills, preferably in technical proposal writing.
- Demonstrated ability to implement proposal best practices including, but not limited to, compliance and response matrix, systematic content design and planning, win themes, topical outlines etc.
- High degree of accuracy, organization, and strong attention to detail with excellent verbal and written communication skills.
- Ability to adapt to an ever-changing environment of growth and change.
- Strong time management skills with ability to work on multiple proposals simultaneously, prioritize and plan work activities, resource(s) planning, goal(s) and objective(s) setting, and organize tasks.
- Solutions-oriented with excellent critical thinking skills, including the ability to analyze information skillfully, develop alternative solutions and work well in a team environment.
- Digital proficiency using cloud-based tools and Google Suite with proficiency in converting documents from Google to other formats like Excel and Microsoft Office.
- Experience using and maintaining content management solutions such as Responsive, Loopio and/or Qvidian.
