McInnes Cooper is seeking a Proposal Coordinator to join our team in our Halifax office for a fourteen (14) month full-time term position. The incumbent will be responsible for providing support to the firm's business development efforts by managing the proposal process from initiation to execution, in conjunction with the Marketing and Business Development Team.
**As a Proposal Coordinator, you will be responsible for**:
Work with the Business Development team members to develop client-specific value propositions for both formal and proactive proposal and pitch opportunities;
Collaborating with the Pricing Analyst on pricing and proposal content;
Maintain a strong knowledge of the legal industry and market trends including business trends, key client/prospect sectors, and competitive landscape;
Administer and coordinate the proposal database and relevant materials;
Liaise with firm members to draft tailored content and project-specific biographies; and,
Be creative, share ideas and knowledge, and have fun
Degree in Marketing, Journalism, Commerce, Public Relations, Communications, or a similar field;
Minimum two (2) years of related experience;
Excellent written and verbal communication, presentation, editing, and proofreading skills;
Ability to develop project timelines, prioritize and manage multiple time-sensitive deadlines;
Exceptional attention to detail and organizational/time-management skills;
Demonstrated research skills, using internal and external sources; and,
High technical competency in MS Office.
