**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor's Degree or College Diploma in Office Administration/Management with a focus on Health Services.
- Minimum of 2 years within the last 3 years of supervisory experience.
- Knowledge in legislative requirements relating to privacy Laws, access and disclosure of personal health information.
- Two years' experience in computerized ADT and HIM System/implementation within the last five years required.
- Advanced knowledge of Microsoft Office Programs and Meditech.
- Previous experience with payroll recording and analysis essential.
- Sound knowledge of the SEIU Collective Agreement.
- Ability to meet deadlines in a high-pressure, time-sensitive environment.
- Previous experience with bed allocation, hospital admissions, staff scheduling and payroll, billing, cash and integrated support of Meditech modules.
- Demonstrates knowledge of principles and practices related to all functions of Health Information Management including extensive experience in coding, abstracting. Must also have experience in working with CIHI and Folio & all data holdings.
- Ability to cope with frequent interruptions while maintaining deadlines and expected registration turnaround time and work in a multi-tasking environment.
- Demonstrates wide range of problem solving and conflict resolution abilities and displays superior interpersonal skills.
- Consistent and regular attendance required.
- Proficient in both official languages (English & French) will be considered an asset.
- Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a new hire requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
