**QUALIFICATIONS**:

- Bachelor's degree in Nursing or other healthcare professional degree; Master's degree preferred but will consider applicant with extensive oncology specialty knowledge and clinical leadership experience.
- Current registration with relevant regulatory body and membership in applicable professional association.
- Minimum of 5 years oncology clinical experience in an outpatient setting.
- Certification in oncology considered an asset.
- Demonstrated knowledge of the principles and practices of quality improvement.
- Sound analytical skills including; conceptualizing, developing and executing a wide variety of projects.
- Working knowledge of the Public Hospitals Act, regulated legislation, labour agreements, hospital policies/ procedures.
Demonstrated ability to lead teams and work effectively within an inter-professional team.
- Demonstrated ability to manage a large/diversified workload with rapidly changing priorities and challenging deadlines.
- Superior interpersonal and leadership skills including but not limited to; critical thinking, communication, responsiveness, conflict resolution, change management, visionary thinking, organizational skills, effective customer service, decision-making skills and problem solving.
- Demonstrated commitment to continuing education in healthcare and/or business.
- Familiarity with program development related to Outpatient Oncology care is an asset.
- Proficiency in both official languages (English and French) will be considered an asset.
- Consistent and regular attendance required.
- Vaccines (COVID-19 and others) are a requirement of the job unless you have an exemption based on medical or on a ground pursuant to the Ontario Human Rights Code.
