We are looking for enthusiastic, positive summer workers, ages 15-29 who would like to join our team in the following positions in and around Haliburton.**

**Community Garden/Roadside Market Assistant**

Responsibilities will include helping with the community garden (weeding, watering, harvesting), and assisting with food production (washing produce, chopping, freezing/dehydrating, assisting with cooking, clean up etc). You may be loading produce into the mobile market, accompanying the van to various locations, set up and take down, talking with customers, cash, etc. There also may be opportunity to help in the Bistro & Bakery.

**Job Type**: Seasonal
Contract length: 2-3 months

**Salary**: $16.50 per hour

Flexible Language Requirement:

- French not required

Schedule:

- Day shift
- Monday to Friday
- Weekend availability

Ability to commute/relocate:

- Haliburton, ON: reliably commute or plan to relocate before starting work (required)
