Under the direction of the Manager, Academic Quality, the Academic Quality Coordinator will support the Centre for Academic Excellence and Lifelong Learning quality assurance audit processes (e.g., Academic Effectiveness and Quality Management (AEQM) Framework, Ontario College Quality Assurance Service (OCQAS) College Quality Assurance Audit Process (CQAAP)) by providing confidential administrative support to the administrator, including collecting/collating/tracking academic quality data for critical academic processes.

**Qualifications**:

- College Diploma in Office Administration, Business, or Information Technology or an equivalent combination of education and relevant experience
- Minimum of five (5) years of related work experience
- Direct experience in collecting, collating, and analyzing evidence for internal and external academic audits, including successful contributions to self-studies and follow-up reporting
- Familiarity with provincial post-secondary regulatory frameworks
- Experience maintaining detailed, confidential databases
- Direct experience supporting academic quality assurance processes
- Experience compiling/analyzing data and preparing comprehensive reports
- Experience completing environmental scans in a higher education context
- Proficiency with software used for academic management and academic quality tracking
- Experience delivering training or workshops on academic quality processes, continuous improvement, and regulatory compliance
- Experience liaising with internal and external impact groups
- Involvement in the implementation of new academic quality initiatives or process improvements
- Experience in a fast-paced, digitally focused office that demands consistent high quality in a variety of projects
- Highly organized communication, critical thinking, and problem-solving skills
- Strong computer technology, software, Internet and database management skills
- Excellent time management skills with the ability to multitask across technological and staff/partner communications simultaneously
- Ability to work as a part of a multi-faceted team

**Responsibilities**:

- Facilitate internal and external audit processes (e.g., AEQM Quality Management Cycle, CQAAP, etc.) by collecting evidence and tracking in support of future CQAAP (or other external audit requirements) and monitoring progress
- Develop documents such as spreadsheets, reports, databases, forms, and word-based using internal systems (e.g., approved project management software, iLearn, Argos)
- Develop/maintain tracking systems to monitor progress and evaluate gaps across various academic areas (e.g., faculty, student, program)
- Assist the Manager, Academic Quality, with the research, development, and completion of the academic unit factbook
- Support Academic Progression/Exam Boards and Academic Council, including partner delivery where relevant
- Support the process of reviewing, evaluating, and developing relevant academic policies, procedures, standards, and processes that facilitate academic effectiveness
- Support program review processes by acting as an internal resource, assisting in the development, revision and communication of support documentation, and assisting in tracking the progress of process outcomes as they translate to the academic unit business plan
- Support research of quality assessment tools/performance indicators
- Compile, customize, and prepare academic data for quality assurance reports, meetings, and presentations for internal and external parties of interest
- Assist in ensuring academic data remains secure and confidentiality protocols are adhered to regarding quality assurance operations
- Confirm data accuracy within confidential reports used for academic decision-making
